Job Description:
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Fitter (FTR) to join an FPSO project in Egypt. The position involves steel repair, pipe work, fabrication and general maintenance to keep the vessel in safe and reliable operating condition. The role is offered on a rotational offshore schedule of 60 days on / 60 days off. Insurance is provided by the vessel Owners.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Carry out steel repairs, cutting, grinding and welding as instructed
• Maintain and repair pipes, brackets, foundations and ship structures
• Assist with fabrication of parts and supports for machinery and equipment
• Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work systems at all times
• Support deck and engine teams with maintenance and repair activities as required

Requirements:
• Very good knowledge of English
• Oiler COC and recognized Fitter/Welder license
• Good knowledge of lathe work, welding, TIG welding and fitting tasks
• Proven seagoing experience as a Fitter, preferably on FPSO vessels
• Ability to work safely in a busy offshore environment and as part of a team
