Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to join a Jack-Up Rig operating offshore in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of electronic, instrumentation, and control systems critical to drilling and rig operations. This role requires hands-on experience in offshore drilling environments and a strong understanding of rig electronic systems to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining and troubleshooting electronic, instrumentation, and control systems onboard the rig
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment
• Diagnosing faults and ensuring timely repair of automation and monitoring systems
• Assisting with calibration and testing of rig instrumentation and safety systems
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures, offshore safety regulations, and maintenance schedules

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Proven experience as an Electronic Technician on Jack-Up Rigs
• Strong knowledge of electronic systems, instrumentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Valid COMPEX certification
• Valid offshore certifications preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural offshore environment
