Location: Las Palmas, Spain
We are currently seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to join a Drillship operating in Las Palmas. The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic, control, and instrumentation systems onboard, ensuring safe and reliable drilling operations in line with company procedures and international offshore standards.
This position is ideal for an Electronic Technician with drilling vessel experience, strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to mobilise at short notice.
As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintenance and repair of electronic, control, and instrumentation systems
• Troubleshooting automation, alarm, and monitoring systems
• Supporting drilling and marine operations with electronic system reliability
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety and hazardous area regulations
• Maintaining records, reports, and planned maintenance documentation
• Supporting audits, inspections, and emergency response activities
• Compliance with HSE policies, company procedures, and offshore standards
• Valid CompEx certification (mandatory)
• Availability to travel on 9th or 10th February
• No Schengen visa required to travel within Schengen states
• Proven experience as an Electronic Technician on Drillships or offshore units
• Valid offshore medical certificate
• Strong English communication skills
• High safety awareness and ability to work in a multinational offshore crew
