Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to join a 6th Generation Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig operating in Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the rig’s electronic, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations. This is a long-term opportunity with an ongoing rotational schedule for qualified candidates with previous offshore drilling experience.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining and troubleshooting electronic, instrumentation, and control systems onboard the rig.
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on communication and automation equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults in drilling-related electronic systems.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance procedures.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.

• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• CompEx Certification
• Previous experience on Semi-Submersible Drilling Rigs or Drillships
• Strong knowledge of electronic, automation, and control systems in offshore drilling environments
