Job Description:
Avoda Solutions is hiring TDS (Top Drive System) Engineers to join one of the largest upstream oil & gas projects in Nigeria. The TDS Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Top Drive System and related equipment, ensuring smooth and safe drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate, monitor, and maintain the Top Drive System during drilling operations
• Troubleshoot and repair TDS and associated equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance in line with manufacturer and company standards
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and HSE policies
• Provide technical support and training to rig crew as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a TDS Engineer in offshore drilling operations
• Strong technical knowledge of Top Drive Systems and drilling equipment
• Valid offshore safety and medical fitness certificates
• Fluency in English communication
