Job Description:
Entrion is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join its consultant network for upcoming project-based offshore assignments. The role focuses on mechanical systems for drillships and jack-ups, supporting engineering, design, and project execution. This is a 1099 contract opportunity, not full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise mechanical engineering activities for offshore projects
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and safety standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
- Review, approve, and coordinate mechanical documentation and drawings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during all project phases
Requirements:
- Proven offshore experience as a mechanical engineer (preferably on drillships/jack-ups)
- Relevant technical degree or certification
- Ability to work on a 1099 contract basis
- Proficiency in English communication
