Job Description:
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is recruiting an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to join a Drill Ship operating offshore in the USA. The assignment is scheduled to start on 29th January for a duration of 4 weeks. The role involves supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting hydraulic systems critical to drilling operations, requiring strong offshore drilling experience and full compliance with U.S. entry and offshore safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting hydraulic systems onboard the drill ship
• Supporting drilling and subsea operations from a hydraulic systems perspective
• Carrying out inspections, testing, and planned maintenance of hydraulic equipment
• Diagnosing faults and ensuring system reliability and safety
• Complying with permit-to-work systems, safety procedures, and company policies
• Coordinating with drilling, mechanical, and electrical teams as required

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates (as applicable to the role)
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (Seafarer Medical)
• US B1 OCS Visa (mandatory)
• BOSIET or FOET with CA-EBS
• OGUK Medical Certificate
• Bi-Deltoid certificate
• Valid Seaman’s Book
• Proven offshore experience as a Hydraulic Engineer on drilling units
• Proficiency in English communication
• Strong safety awareness and offshore work ethic
