Job Description:
As a Data Engineer, you will support drilling and mud logging operations by managing technical data systems, ensuring data quality, and enabling real-time decision-making. This role requires relevant certifications, IWCF, and at least 3 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, process, and validate operational data from drilling activities
• Maintain databases and ensure data accuracy for reporting
• Support engineering teams with technical analysis and visualization
• Ensure compliance with company and client data management standards
• Provide data-driven insights to optimize drilling performance
Requirements:
• BSc/BEng in Engineering or Physical Science
• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer in oil & gas
• IWCF certification is mandatory
• Proficiency in data management tools and reporting software
• Medical fitness certificate
