I m Diesel Generator (DG) Operator is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and monitoring of backup and prime power diesel generators. They ensure uninterrupted power supplies during outages, conduct routine servicing, manage fuel consumption, and perform minor troubleshooting to prevent equipment downtime.Core ResponsibilitiesEquipment Operation: Start, stop, and operate diesel generators manually or automatically. Synchronize multiple generators and manage load sharing, voltage, and frequency controls.Routine Inspections: Conduct pre-start and post-operation checks. Regularly inspect oil levels, coolant, battery health, and filters to ensure optimal performance.Fuel Management: Monitor fuel tank levels, coordinate refilling activities, and maintain accurate records of fuel consumption and costs.Troubleshooting: Identify operational abnormalities (unusual noises, vibrations, or temperature spikes) and diagnose basic mechanical or electrical faults.Documentation: Maintain daily logbooks and digital reports tracking running hours, maintenance dates, and system performance.Safety & Compliance: Adhere to workplace safety protocols, environmental regulations regarding emissions, and ensure proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE
