Job Description:
We are currently recruiting a Senior Rig Electrician for a temporary offshore drilling assignment. The position is scheduled to commence on 23rd January and run until 6th February. The role requires a highly experienced offshore electrician to support the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems on a drilling rig. Due to the rig’s location and logistics, only candidates residing in the UK and able to travel easily will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining, inspecting, and repairing rig electrical systems and equipment
• Ensuring compliance with offshore electrical safety standards and procedures
• Troubleshooting electrical faults and supporting safe rig operations
• Supervising or guiding junior electrical personnel as required
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with permit-to-work and isolation procedures

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates (as applicable)
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Proven offshore experience as Senior Rig Electrician
• Valid COMPEX certification
• Recognised electrical qualification (HNC, City & Guilds, apprenticeship or equivalent)
• All other relevant offshore and electrical certifications
• Proficiency in English communication
• UK residency and ability to travel easily (mandatory)
