Job Description:
Drillmar Resources is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Electrician to join an offshore drilling platform in the North Sea. This is an ongoing 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotational position commencing 16 July 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the platform's electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safe and reliable performance in accordance with company procedures and industry regulations.
Only candidates with previous operational experience as an Electrician onboard offshore drilling installations will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment onboard the drilling installation.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with the planned maintenance system.
Ensure all electrical work complies with company HSE policies and offshore industry standards.
Support drilling operations by maintaining the reliability of electrical and control systems.
Participate in emergency response activities and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Requirements:
Valid OPITO BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS.
Valid OPITO MIST certificate.
Valid OGUK Medical with Bideltoid Measurements.
CompEx certification.
Recognized Electrical / Trade Qualifications.
Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
Previous operational experience as a Senior Electrician/Electrician onboard offshore drilling installations.
Proficiency in English communication.
