Job Description:
Advance Global Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking experienced Electricians for an offshore drilling project in the United Kingdom, with mobilization scheduled for 29 July.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment supporting offshore drilling operations. The role requires ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical installations while maintaining compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and offshore safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of offshore drilling electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore equipment to operational condition.
Conduct routine testing and preventive maintenance in accordance with company procedures.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, operational procedures, and client requirements.
Support the continuous safe and reliable operation of drilling equipment and participate in emergency response activities.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (OGUK Medical).
Proficiency in English communication.
Valid CompEx certification.
Valid FOET with CA-EBS certificate.
Valid MIST certificate.
UK Passport or valid UK Right to Work.
Previous experience as an Offshore Drilling Electrician is preferred.
Strong knowledge of offshore electrical systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
