Job Description

A Rig Electrician is required to join an offshore platform in the UK North Sea.

Position: Rig Electrician
Location: Offshore Platform, UK North Sea
Start Date: 4 September 2026
Initial Contract: 3 weeks
Rotation: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
Contract Duration: Up to 6 months

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance and repairs on offshore installation equipment.
• Perform inspections, testing and fault-finding of electrical systems.
• Ensure electrical equipment is maintained in accordance with offshore safety standards.
• Support planned and corrective maintenance activities.
• Comply with all offshore HSE and electrical safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous offshore electrical / rig experience.
• All mandatory offshore certifications.
• Valid CompEx certification.
• Must be based in the UK.
• Must have valid Right to Work in the UK.
• Valid medical and other required offshore certificates.

Pay Type: Umbrella PAYE only
