Job Description:
An experienced Electrician is required to join an offshore Semi-Submersible Rig. The position involves supporting offshore electrical operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair activities in a hazardous-area environment.
Mobilisation is ASAP, with travel scheduled one day prior to mobilisation. The contract is expected to cover approximately 2 trips.
Due to location requirements, EU professionals only are eligible for this assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and troubleshoot offshore electrical systems and equipment.
Carry out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
Perform electrical installation, inspection, testing, and fault-finding activities.
Work safely with hazardous-area electrical equipment and emergency electrical systems.
Follow safe isolation, Permit to Work, HSE, and offshore safety procedures.
Requirements:
EU nationality / EU professional – mandatory due to location requirements.
Valid OEUK Medical.
Valid Offshore Survival / BOSIET or equivalent.
Relevant Electrical Qualification.
CompEx – Hazardous Areas certification.
STCW Proficiency in Security Awareness – A-VI/6-1 (eLearning).
Experience with offshore electrical systems and maintenance.
Experience in electrical fault finding and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of hazardous-area electrical equipment.
Knowledge of offshore rig operations and HSE compliance.
Availability for ASAP mobilisation.
