Job Description:
Our client, a leading provider of drilling and mining services, is expanding operations and seeking experienced RC Drillers for a major project in Africa. This role involves managing drill rigs and crews while delivering safe, high-quality drilling operations on an 8/4 roster. The successful candidate will apply exceptional drilling practices, ensure compliance with HSE standards, and train local personnel in drilling techniques. Previous experience in Australian mining operations is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Manage drill rigs and crews to achieve safe and efficient drilling operations.
• Apply industry-leading RC drilling practices and techniques.
• Ensure all personnel comply with company HSE regulations and site-specific rules.
• Train and mentor local employees in drilling operations and safety standards.
• Maintain mechanical integrity of drilling equipment and support mobile carrier-mounted diamond drill rigs.

Requirements:
• Minimum 7 years of experience in RC drilling, with at least 5 years in mining or contracting.
• Experience in Australian mining exploration is preferred.
• Proficiency in RC exploration or grade control drilling.
• Certificate II or III in Drilling Operations.
• Experience with Booster and Auxiliary systems essential.
• Mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Demonstrated leadership in Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ).
• Ability to empower local communities and respect cultural differences.
• Experience working with diverse cultures; strong English communication skills required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical.

• Contract Duration: Project-based, 8/4 roster (8 weeks on / 4 weeks off).
