Job Description:
We are currently recruiting experienced Main Drillers for our client's 7th Generation Drillship. This is a permanent offshore position offering a 28 days on / 28 days off rotation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and executing safe and efficient drilling operations during deepwater campaigns while ensuring compliance with company procedures, well control requirements, and offshore safety standards.
Candidates must be available to mobilise in June 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise and conduct drilling operations in accordance with approved drilling programs.
Operate and monitor NOV drilling equipment while maintaining optimum drilling performance.
Ensure compliance with well control procedures and company HSE policies.
Coordinate drilling activities with the rig crew and offshore management team.
Maintain accurate operational records and support preventive maintenance of drilling equipment.
Requirements:
Valid OPITO BOSIET or FOET with CA-EBS.
Valid OGUK or STCW Medical Certificate of Fitness for Offshore Work.
IWCF Well Control – Combined Surface & Subsea Level 3.
Minimum 2 years of operational experience as a Main Driller onboard a MODU (semi-submersible or drillship) within the last 5 years.
Proven deepwater drilling campaign experience.
Experience operating NOV Drilling Equipment.
Proficiency in English communication.
