Job Description:
The company is currently building a Talent Pool for experienced Drillers to join its offshore drilling fleet. Reporting directly to the Rig Superintendent, the Driller is responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of drilling operations while ensuring compliance with company procedures and HSE standards.
The successful candidate will supervise the drilling crew, operate and maintain drilling equipment, monitor drilling performance, and support well control operations. This position is suited to experienced drilling professionals committed to operational excellence, teamwork, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate and monitor drilling equipment, including hoisting, rotary, mud circulation, and well control systems.
Supervise the drilling crew and ensure all drilling activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Maintain drilling records, operational reports, and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
Ensure compliance with drilling programs, HSE policies, and well control requirements.
Collaborate with the Rig Superintendent and offshore personnel to achieve safe and efficient drilling operations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Minimum 8 years of offshore drilling experience, including at least 2 years as a Driller.
Proven experience operating and maintaining offshore drilling equipment.
Strong knowledge of drilling terminology, drilling procedures, wellbore mechanics, and pressure control principles.
High School Diploma (minimum requirement).
Technical Degree in Drilling Technology is preferred.
Valid IADC Well Control – Driller Level certificate.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced offshore environment while maintaining high safety standards.
