Job Description
Team Recruitment is recruiting experienced Drillers for upcoming offshore opportunities, including assignments requiring urgent mobilisation.
The Driller is responsible for overseeing drilling operations at the rig floor, operating drilling equipment, coordinating rig-floor personnel, and ensuring that operations are carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor drilling equipment during assigned operations.
- Supervise rig-floor activities and coordinate the work of Floorhands and Derrickmen.
- Follow the drilling programme and instructions from senior drilling personnel.
- Monitor drilling parameters and identify abnormal operating conditions.
- Coordinate equipment preparation and verify operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate operational records and report relevant incidents.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with safe-work procedures.
- Coordinate with the drilling team to maintain efficient and safe operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Driller or in a comparable offshore drilling role.
- Previous offshore rig or drilling installation experience.
- Relevant drilling qualifications and competency certifications, as required by the project.
- Valid offshore safety training and medical certification, where required.
- Strong knowledge of drilling equipment, operating procedures, and rig-floor safety.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to changing operational conditions.
- Availability for urgent mobilisation during late October or early November 2026.
