Driller for Jack-Up Rig (Croatia)

Job Description:

DMC Offshore is urgently seeking an experienced Driller for an upcoming Jack-Up Drilling Rig project in Croatia.

The successful candidate will operate and monitor drilling equipment, coordinate rig-floor activities, supervise assigned drilling personnel, and ensure that all drilling operations are carried out safely and in accordance with the approved drilling programme.

Croatian candidates are particularly encouraged to apply. Other EU candidates are welcome if they hold or are eligible to obtain a valid A1 certificate.

The initial assignment will last approximately 60–90 days, with mobilisation as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operate and monitor drilling equipment in accordance with the approved drilling programme.
• Coordinate rig-floor activities and supervise assigned drilling personnel.
• Monitor drilling parameters and identify abnormal operating conditions.
• Conduct equipment checks and report defects or operational concerns.
• Maintain drilling records and comply with HSE procedures and risk assessments.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Driller on offshore drilling rigs.
• Appropriate drilling competency qualifications and professional certificates.
• Valid offshore safety training and medical certification, as required by the project.
• Previous Jack-Up Drilling Rig experience is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills and strong operational awareness.
• Ability to supervise personnel and work safely under pressure.
• Croatian candidates particularly encouraged to apply.
• Other EU candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid A1 certificate.
• Availability for immediate mobilisation and the full 60–90-day assignment.
