Driller for Drilling Rig (UK)

Job Description:
Drillmar Resources is recruiting an experienced Driller to support the reactivation of a Drilling rig. The position is offered on an ongoing 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation, initially through the agency with the potential to transition to a permanent contract.
The rig is currently located in Las Palmas, with future contracts scheduled offshore Spain and the UK.
Candidates requiring a work visa must already hold a valid visa at the time of application. Applicants who require a visa but do not currently possess one cannot be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Safely operate and supervise drilling activities from the rig floor.
Monitor drilling parameters and ensure operations are conducted according to approved procedures.
Coordinate drilling operations with the rig crew and other departments.
Maintain effective communication during well-control and drilling activities.
Ensure compliance with offshore safety, well-control, and operational standards.

Requirements:
Previous operational experience as a Driller onboard drilling rigs is required.
Minimum offshore travel training/certification standards must be met.
Well Control – Surface and Subsea, Level 3 Driller certification.
Valid visa at the time of application if a work visa is required.
Previous experience on semi-submersible drilling rigs is advantageous.
Good English communication skills.
Important: Candidates who do not meet the required drilling experience and certification criteria will not be considered.

Employment Details:
Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off.
Current Location: Las Palmas, Spain.
Future Operations: Offshore Spain and UK.
Rig Type: Conventional Semi-Submersible.
Contract: Initially agency-based, with potential for permanent employment.
Salary: Competitive, based on experience.
