Job Description

Prime Ocean Group is seeking a qualified and experienced AUX Driller to join a client’s drillship operating offshore Angola, with joining scheduled for 19 November 2026.

The successful candidate will support drilling operations, assist with the operation and monitoring of drilling equipment, and help maintain safe and efficient rig-floor activities in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with drilling operations and the safe handling of drilling equipment.
• Supporting the Driller and drilling crew during routine and critical operations.
• Monitoring equipment performance and reporting faults or irregularities.
• Ensuring the rig floor is maintained in a safe and organized condition.
• Participating in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and emergency drills.
• Following drilling procedures and applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in an Auxiliary Driller or comparable drilling position.
• Previous experience on a drillship or offshore drilling rig is preferred.
• Appropriate drilling-related qualifications and certificates.
• Valid offshore safety training and medical certification as required.
• Valid passport and relevant employment documents.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a drilling team.
• Availability to join on 19 November 2026.
