Job Description:
We are seeking Assistant Drillers to join our client’s drillship fleet. These are permanent positions requiring candidates who can mobilise within the next month and work on a 28/28 rotation schedule. Due to work permit restrictions in the operational area, only UK, EU, or South African nationals can be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in all drilling operations on a MODU (semi-submersible or drillship)
- Operate and maintain NOV drilling equipment
- Support the Driller in safe and efficient execution of drilling activities
- Ensure compliance with all offshore safety standards
- Maintain accurate drilling records and operational logs
- Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures
Requirements:
- At least two years of recent operational experience (within the past five years) as Assistant Driller on a MODU (semi-submersible or drillship)
- Hands-on experience with NOV Drilling Equipment
- IWCF Well Control – Combined Surface & Subsea – Level 3
- OPITO BOSIET or FOET with CA-EBS
- Valid Medical Certificate of Fitness for Offshore Work (OGUK or STCW)
- Only UK, EU, or South African nationals due to work permit restrictions
- Applicants who do not meet the above criteria cannot be considered
