Job Description:
Drillmar Resources is currently recruiting an experienced Assistant Driller to join a 6th Generation Drillship operating from Las Palmas. This is a short-term offshore assignment for professionals with previous drilling experience on modern offshore drilling units. The successful candidate will support drilling operations, maintain safety standards, and assist in ensuring efficient execution of all drilling activities in accordance with company procedures and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the Driller in conducting safe and efficient drilling operations.
Monitor drilling equipment and support routine maintenance and operational checks.
Ensure compliance with well control procedures and offshore safety standards.
Maintain accurate operational records and report equipment issues.
Promote and adhere to company HSE policies and international drilling regulations.
Requirements:
Valid OPITO BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS.
Valid OGUK Medical or Seafarer's Medical.
IWCF or IADC Well Control – Surface & Subsea certification.
Right to work in the European Union.
Previous offshore experience as an Assistant Driller.
Experience onboard a cyber semi-submersible or 6th Generation Drillship.
Proficiency in English communication.
