DPO
Location: Las Palmas / Egypt
Job Description:
Drillship project operating between Las Palmas and Egypt. The position is for a DPO onboard a drillship engaged in offshore drilling operations. Contract duration is one hitch or more with immediate travel. Work is performed in an international offshore environment under standard drilling vessel conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Dynamic positioning operations and vessel station keeping
• Monitoring and control of DP systems
• Ensuring safe navigation and operational compliance
• Coordination with bridge and offshore teams
• Reporting of operational status and incidents
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid Schengen visa (unless exempt)
• Relevant offshore DP experience
