Location: USA – Axis Operations
Job Description:
Axis is hiring a P&A Derrick Hand to support plug and abandonment operations. The role involves handling tubulars and equipment from the derrick and assisting with well decommissioning tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with pipe handling and equipment during P&A operations
• Working on the derrick to support well decommissioning activities
• Maintaining drilling and plugging equipment
• Ensuring adherence to HSE protocols and procedures
• Supporting the rig team with operational tasks as required
Requirements:
• Prior experience in derrick or drilling operations essential
• Knowledge of plug and abandonment (P&A) processes preferred
• Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• English proficiency required
