Job Description

WTS Energy is recruiting an experienced Derrickman to support offshore drilling operations on platforms and barges.

The successful candidate will assist with drilling-fluid systems, tubular handling, and rig operations while maintaining safe working practices and following the instructions of senior drilling personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation and monitoring of drilling-fluid systems.
• Support tubular handling and drilling equipment operations as assigned.
• Conduct equipment inspections and report defects.
• Maintain clean and safe working areas.
• Follow instructions from the Driller and other senior rig personnel.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and emergency drills.
• Comply with drilling procedures and offshore HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Derrickman or in a similar offshore drilling role.
• Previous offshore drilling experience preferred.
• Mexican or foreign Seaman's Book.
• Valid passport.
• Valid OGUK medical certificate.
• Valid TBOSIET certificate.
• Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
• Conversational English.
• Knowledge of drilling-fluid systems, tubular handling, and rig-floor safety.
• Valid Well Control certification if required by the specific assignment.
