Job Description
Team Recruitment is seeking an experienced Derrickman for offshore drilling opportunities during early November 2026.
The successful candidate will assist with drilling-fluid systems, tubular handling, derrick operations, and other assigned drilling activities. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, technical competence, and the ability to work effectively with the drilling crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation and monitoring of drilling-fluid and mud systems.
- Support the handling and positioning of tubulars and drilling equipment as assigned.
- Carry out inspections and routine maintenance of relevant equipment.
- Monitor equipment condition and report faults or abnormalities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in designated work areas.
- Follow instructions from the Driller and other senior rig personnel.
- Participate in pre-job briefings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
- Ensure compliance with lifting, working-at-height, and general offshore safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Derrickman or in a relevant offshore drilling role.
- Relevant drilling and offshore experience.
- Valid offshore safety training and medical certification, where required.
- Knowledge of drilling-fluid systems, tubular handling, and rig-floor procedures.
- Good understanding of HSE requirements and safe working practices.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding offshore environment.
- Availability for urgent mobilisation.
