Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Deck Foreman to join our client's 6th Generation Drillship. This is a permanent rotational position commencing July 2026.
The Deck Foreman will be a key member of the offshore marine support team, responsible for supervising all deck operations, coordinating deck personnel, and ensuring that all lifting, cargo handling, and marine activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company procedures and international offshore regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate all deck operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution of marine activities.
Lead and oversee the work of Crane Operators, Assistant Crane Operators, and the Deck Crew.
Conduct pre- and post-operational inspections of deck equipment, ensuring operational readiness and certification compliance.
Maintain accurate deck logs, maintenance records, permits, and company reporting documentation.
Monitor deck operations, identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with HSE policies.
Participate in emergency drills, toolbox talks, safety meetings, inspections, and audits to maintain a high standard of operational safety.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Only UK, European Union, or South African nationals are eligible to apply due to work permit restrictions.
Minimum 2 years of operational experience as a Deck Foreman onboard MODUs, preferably drillships.
Valid Offshore Crane Operator – Stage 3 certificate.
Valid OPITO Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader (OERTL) certificate.
Valid OPITO Helideck Emergency Response Team Leader (HERTL) certificate.
Previous experience supervising offshore deck operations and lifting activities.
