HIRING - Crane Operator

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Operates various diesel and electro-hydraulic cranes of varying jib lengths and lifting capacities of load.
b) Load/ Offload, move and stack various heavy materials such as machinery, equipment, tubular pipes, fuel baskets and food containers.
c) Load/ Offload material and equipment.
d) Ensures that loads are within crane capacity and carries out operations smoothly and in accordance with correct operating procedures.
e) Carries out regular maintenance checks on the cranes at yard that includes general inspection, repair, lubrication of wire ropes and sheaves, checking of boom and its connection pins, safe indicator loads and limit switches.
f) Informs concerned Supervisor and assists in follow- up of maintenance of major items that are not within his capability/ capacity to service/ repair.

Professional/ Technical qualification:
a) Crane operations and safe slinging.
b) Crane operation Certification.
c) QHSSE awareness.
d) Basic/ Adv. Fire Fighting Techniques.
e) First Aid and CPR.
f) Environmental Awareness.
g) Manual handling techniques of equipment and material.
