Job Description
An experienced Crane Operator is required for an offshore project in Las Palmas. The position involves safe and efficient crane operations in support of offshore deck and lifting activities. The successful candidate must hold the appropriate crane operator certification for the level required by the project.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Operate offshore lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-use inspections and report any defects.
- Carry out lifting operations in accordance with approved procedures.
- Coordinate lifting activities with banksmen, slingers and deck personnel.
- Maintain safe working practices during all crane operations.
Requirements
- Valid Crane Operator Stage 1, 2, 3 or 4 certification, as applicable to the position.
- Banksman/Slinger certification where required.
- Work at Height & Rescue certification.
- Valid OEUK Medical.
- Valid Offshore Survival certification, including HUET EBS / CA-EBS as applicable.
- Relevant offshore crane operating experience.
- Good English communication skills.
