Crane Operator
Location: Japan
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join a Jack-Up Rig operating in Japan. This is an immediate opportunity for qualified candidates with previous jack-up rig experience. The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of offshore lifting equipment, supporting drilling and maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with company and industry safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Operating pedestal and deck cranes for cargo and personnel lifting operations
• Conducting pre-use inspections and routine maintenance checks on crane equipment
• Ensuring safe lifting practices in accordance with lifting procedures and regulations
• Coordinating lifting activities with deck crew and offshore personnel
• Maintaining accurate records of crane operations and equipment status
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• EU or UK Nationals only
• Previous Jack-Up Rig experience is essential
• Valid offshore certifications relevant to the position
• Availability for immediate mobilization
