Job Description:
Drillmar Resources is currently recruiting an experienced Crane Operator to join a 7th Generation Drillship for an ad hoc offshore assignment in the Gulf of Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting safe and efficient lifting operations using offshore knuckle boom cranes while supporting drilling and marine operations in compliance with company procedures and international offshore safety standards.
The assignment is scheduled from 23 July to 19 August.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate offshore knuckle boom cranes for lifting, cargo handling, and supply operations.
Perform pre-use inspections and routine maintenance checks on crane equipment.
Execute lifting operations in accordance with approved lift plans and offshore safety procedures.
Coordinate with deck crews and marine personnel to ensure safe cargo movements.
Maintain compliance with company HSE policies and participate in safety meetings and emergency drills.
Requirements:
Valid OPITO BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS.
Valid OGUK Medical or Seafarer's Medical.
Valid Offshore Crane Operator Stage 3 certificate.
Valid US Visa (B1 OCS or B1/B2).
Minimum 12 months of knuckle boom crane experience onboard a semi-submersible or drillship.
Previous offshore experience as a Crane Operator.
Proficiency in English communication.
