Job Description:
Team Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Crane Operator for an upcoming offshore assignment in Las Palmas. The successful candidate will support offshore lifting operations and work alongside the crane team to ensure safe and efficient handling of cargo, equipment, and materials.
The position is a short-term assignment with mobilisation on 26 August 2026 and a contract period running from 26 August to 9 September 2026. Candidates must hold a valid Crane Operator Stage 3 Certificate and be available for the full assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the Crane Operator with safe and efficient offshore lifting operations.
Support the preparation, handling, and positioning of cargo and equipment.
Carry out pre-operation checks of crane equipment and associated lifting gear.
Assist with deck crew coordination during lifting operations.
Follow offshore lifting procedures, safety regulations, and instructions from supervisors.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Assistant Crane Operator
Valid Crane Operator Stage 3 Certificate – Mandatory
Previous offshore experience
Valid STCW certificates, where applicable
Valid offshore medical certificate
Good command of English
Ability to work safely within a professional offshore team
Must be available for the full assignment dates
