Job Description:
Advance Global Recruitment Ltd is urgently seeking an experienced Safety Officer to mobilise ASAP to an offshore drilling rig. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, conducting inspections, and supporting safe drilling operations. Candidates must be UK or EU-based and available for immediate mobilisation.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Monitor compliance with offshore health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments onboard.
Support emergency preparedness, drills, and incident investigations.
Promote safe working practices and provide HSE guidance to crew members.
Maintain safety documentation and ensure compliance with company and client procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates (where applicable)
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
UK or EU-based candidates only
Previous offshore drilling rig experience as a Safety Officer preferred
Valid BOSIET / FOET
Valid CA-EBS
Valid OGUK Medical
NEBOSH Certification
