Job Description
TOS People is seeking a qualified Chief Officer to assist the Master in managing deck operations, supervising deck crew, and maintaining safe working practices onboard an FPSO or similar offshore vessel.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Master with vessel operations and safety management.
- Supervise deck crew and coordinate deck maintenance.
- Support cargo and offshore operations as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with onboard safety procedures.
- Maintain relevant deck logs, reports, and operational records.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same rank and on the same or similar vessel type: FSO, FPSO, large offshore vessel, or tanker.
- Good English communication skills.
- Valid BOSIET, FOET, and AOT/BOCT certificates as required.
- Valid Certificate of Competency appropriate to the position and relevant STCW certificates.
- Valid offshore medical certificate and seafarer documents as applicable.
