DME Namibia supports offshore drilling units through marine operations, logistics, installation support, and vessel management.
We are hiring a Chief Mate to assist the Master in managing the vessel, supervising deck operations, and ensuring the safety of all marine activities during drilling operations.
• Supervision of deck crew and deck operations
• Support vessel movement control and watchkeeping
• Assist in DP operations (if applicable)
• Coordinate lifting and installation activities
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures
• Maintain deck equipment and safety systems
• STCW Chief Mate Unlimited
• Offshore medical
• BOSIET / FOET
• Offshore marine experience
• Proficiency in English
