Job Description:
The Chief Engineer oversees the operation, maintenance, and repair of all vessel machinery and systems. Ensures compliance with engineering safety standards and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage engine department and supervise maintenance schedules.
• Oversee fuel, oil, and equipment operations.
• Maintain engineering records and reports.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and environmental standards.
Requirements:
• Chief Engineer’s license (U.S. Coast Guard or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marine engineering.
• Strong leadership and troubleshooting skills.
Employment Details:
• Rotation: 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off
• Salary: Negotiable based on experience
