Job Description:
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced 1st Engineer to join a DSV operating in Norway from 1st July until 29th July.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing engine room operations, ensuring the safe and efficient performance of all machinery systems, and supporting offshore vessel operations in compliance with company and international maritime standards.
Candidates with previous offshore and DSV experience will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervising engine room operations and maintenance activities
Monitoring vessel machinery and auxiliary systems
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures
Managing planned maintenance schedules and technical troubleshooting
Supporting safe offshore and DP vessel operations
Requirements:
Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Valid STCW certificates
High Voltage (HV) certification
Valid HUET / BOSIET / FOET certification
CA-EBS certificate
Bi-Deltoid measurement certificate
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid Seaman’s Book
Valid Passport
Good English communication skills
