DME Namibia operates in the offshore marine sector, supporting deck operations, installation work, barge activities, and lifting operations for offshore units.
We are hiring an experienced Bosun to supervise deck crew and support daily offshore marine and installation activities.
The role requires strong deck leadership skills, knowledge of lifting operations, and the ability to work safely in challenging offshore conditions.
• Supervising deckhands and ABs during daily operations
• Safe execution of marine and deck activities
• Supporting lifting, rigging, and installation operations
• Maintaining deck equipment, tools, and safety systems
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Assisting with watchkeeping and vessel movement tasks
Requirements
• Valid STCW (II/5 or higher)
• Offshore medical certificate
• BOSIET / FOET
• Strong offshore deck experience
• Proficiency in English communication
• Documents valid minimum 18 months
