Job Description
TOS People is looking for an experienced Bosun to supervise deck ratings and support safe deck operations, maintenance, and offshore activities onboard an FPSO or similar vessel.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and supervise deck crew activities.
- Carry out deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation.
- Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo-related deck operations as assigned.
- Ensure safe handling and maintenance of deck tools and equipment.
- Follow permit-to-work procedures and onboard safety requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same rank and on the same or similar vessel type: FSO, FPSO, large offshore vessel, or tanker.
- Good English communication skills.
- Valid BOSIET, FOET, and AOT/BOCT certificates as required.
- Relevant seafarer qualifications and STCW certificates.
- Valid offshore medical certificate and seafarer documents as applicable.
