Job Description:
An experienced AB Workboat Deckhand is required for workboat and offshore opportunities. Candidates must hold the specified workboat, AB, STCW and security qualifications.
Position:
AB Workboat Deckhand
Key Responsibilities:
• Performing deckhand and AB duties onboard workboats
• Supporting mooring, anchoring and general deck operations
• Assisting with vessel maintenance and deck equipment
• Supporting safe workboat and offshore operations
• Following STCW, HSE and vessel safety procedures
Requirements:
• VHF-SRC Certificate
• RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Coastal – Workboat Deckhand
• Certificate of Proficiency – Able Seafarer Deck (AB)
• MCA-approved Engine Course – Part 1
• STCW A-VI/1-1 – Personal Survival Techniques
• STCW A-VI/1-2 – Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
• STCW A-VI/1-3 – Elementary First Aid
• STCW A-VI/1-4 – Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities
• STCW A-VI/2-1 – Survival Craft & Rescue Boats
• STCW A-VI/6-4, VI/6-1 – Security Awareness / Designated Security Duties
