Job Description:
Drillmar Resources is recruiting 2 × Able Seaman (AB) to join a client's drilling rig currently operating in Las Palmas. The assignment is scheduled to commence ASAP for approximately 4 weeks.
The successful candidates will support deck operations, maintenance, lifting, mooring, and general offshore activities onboard the rig. Candidates requiring a work visa must already hold a valid visa/right to work in the EU at the time of application.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with routine deck operations, maintenance, and housekeeping.
Carry out mooring, lifting, rigging, and material-handling activities safely.
Assist with Banksman/Slinger operations as required.
Support drilling rig operations and deck crew during daily activities.
Follow all offshore safety, security, and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
Valid CoC – Able Seaman (II/5).
Banksman Slinger certification.
Minimum standards for offshore travel.
STCW Basic Training, including Personal Survival Techniques and Fire Prevention/Fire Fighting.
STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (other than Fast Rescue Boats).
STCW Proficiency in Security Awareness A-VI/6-1 (eLearning).
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Valid visa / Right to Work in the EU for candidates requiring work authorization.
Previous offshore drilling / semi-submersible experience is preferred.
Good English communication skills.
