Job Description
TOS People is recruiting a Third Engineer to assist with the operation, inspection, and maintenance of engine-room machinery and auxiliary systems onboard an FPSO or similar offshore vessel.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and report defects.
- Support planned maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintain accurate technical and maintenance records.
- Comply with engine-room safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same rank and on the same or similar vessel type: FSO, FPSO, large offshore vessel, or tanker.
- Good English communication skills.
- Valid BOSIET, FOET, and AOT/BOCT certificates as required.
- Valid Third Engineer Certificate of Competency and relevant STCW certificates.
- Valid offshore medical certificate and seafarer documents as applicable.
