Job Description
A leading offshore drilling operator is seeking an experienced Watchkeeper to join a Drillship operating from Las Palmas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with navigational watches, deck operations, safety monitoring, maintenance activities, and supporting vessel operations during offshore assignments.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain navigational watches as assigned
Monitor vessel operations and safety conditions
Support deck maintenance and operational activities
Assist with mooring and cargo operations
Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures
Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company procedures
Requirements
Valid STCW II/4 Certificate of Competency (Mandatory)
Previous offshore or marine vessel experience preferred
Valid STCW certification package
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Ability to commit to a 3–4 month rotation
Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
