Job Description
TOS People is recruiting a Second Officer with radio operator duties for an FPSO or similar offshore vessel. The successful candidate will support safe navigation, watchkeeping, and onboard communications in accordance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Maintain navigational watches as assigned.
- Assist with passage planning and navigation records.
- Operate and monitor vessel communication equipment within the scope of certification.
- Support emergency preparedness and safety drills.
- Maintain accurate navigational and communication records.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same rank and on the same or similar vessel type: FSO, FPSO, large offshore vessel, or tanker.
- Good English communication skills.
- Valid BOSIET, FOET, and AOT/BOCT certificates as required.
- Valid Second Officer/OOW Certificate of Competency and applicable radio operator qualifications.
- Relevant STCW certificates, offshore medical certificate, and seafarer documents as applicable.
