Job Description
TOS People is looking for an experienced Second Engineer to assist with the management of the engine department and ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery and technical systems onboard.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Supervise engine-room operations and maintenance activities as assigned.
- Monitor machinery performance and equipment condition.
- Coordinate routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Maintain engine-room records and report technical issues.
- Follow onboard safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same rank and on the same or similar vessel type: FSO, FPSO, large offshore vessel, or tanker.
- Good English communication skills.
- Valid BOSIET, FOET, and AOT/BOCT certificates as required.
- Valid Second Engineer Certificate of Competency and relevant STCW certificates.
- Valid offshore medical certificate and seafarer documents as applicable.
