Job Description

The Engine Mechanic will perform inspections, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on engines and associated machinery onboard.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain mechanical components and engine-room equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and assist with repairs.
• Replace worn or damaged components.
• Use workshop tools and measuring equipment safely.
• Maintain maintenance records and follow technical instructions.

Requirements

• Relevant mechanical qualifications or technical training.
• Previous engine-room, marine, or industrial mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical tools and repair procedures.
• Valid medical fitness certificate and applicable onboard certificates.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
