Job Description:
OSM Thome is recruiting an Ordinary Seaman (OS) to join a passenger ferry trading in European waters. The Ordinary Seaman will be part of the deck department, supporting safe vessel operations and ensuring the ferry is clean, well maintained, and ready for passengers on every voyage. This role requires reliability, teamwork, and a strong safety mindset in a busy passenger service environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with mooring and unmooring operations
• Carrying out deck maintenance, cleaning, and painting duties
• Handling mooring lines, fenders, gangways, and deck equipment
• Supporting navigation watch as lookout and helmsman when required
• Assisting with loading, unloading, and safe movement of passengers
• Following safety regulations and participating in drills and emergency duties

Requirements:
• Valid Ordinary Seaman (OS) / Deck Rating certificates
• STCW Basic Safety Training
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Previous experience on passenger vessels or ferries is an advantage
• Proficiency in English communication
• Physically fit for sea service and able to work in a multinational crew
