Job Description:

A cruise ship operator is seeking an Ordinary Seaman to support deck operations and routine maintenance. The successful candidate will assist the deck department with cleaning, equipment upkeep, mooring activities, and other duties assigned by senior deck officers.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with deck cleaning, maintenance, and equipment preparation.
• Supporting mooring, anchoring, and line-handling operations under supervision.
• Maintaining deck tools and equipment in good condition.
• Participating in safety drills and assigned emergency duties.
• Following maritime safety regulations and onboard procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant deck experience; cruise or passenger vessel experience preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates and Seaman’s Book.
• Valid medical fitness certificate in accordance with applicable STCW standards.
• Relevant seafarer documentation.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the same position or vessel type.
• Good English communication skills and a strong safety mindset.
