Job Description:
We are seeking a Security Officer responsible for overseeing and maintaining the security of the vessel in all operating conditions, including at sea, in port, at anchor, and during repair periods. The Security Officer ensures that all daily security operations are carried out in full compliance with the Ship Security Plan and international regulations. The role requires strong organizational skills, vigilance, and experience in managing security procedures onboard passenger vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Supervising and administering onboard security operations
• Ensuring compliance with the Ship Security Plan and relevant regulations
• Monitoring vessel security at sea, in port, at anchor, and during repairs
• Coordinating security procedures with crew and port authorities
• Conducting security drills and maintaining security awareness onboard

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates (STCW95)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Relevant security-related certifications as required for the position
• Extensive experience in subordinate roles and in a similar position onboard passenger vessels
